PERSONAL REFLECTION
DESCRIBE
My family and I were strolling down the Oxford Street, the busiest shopping area in Europe with half a million of visitors each day. I was so excited to go to Primark, which is a store located along the street. It is a haven for me as a shop-a-holic guy. Yes, I LOVE shopping more than girls do. But my parents restricted me and my sisters to go to Primark. They suggested to go there when we were on our way back to the hotel. We agreed. After a long cold walk, I saw my sisters were negotiating about something with my mother and they left the store we were particularly in. I asked my mother where did they go and she said they went to Mug Store. But I misheard my mother, I thought she said Primark Store which is nearly the other end of the busy crowded street. I was confused at first but without hesitating, I went straight to the store. There were no clue of my sisters and I got panic. Miracles do happen, I saw my father pacing quite fastly. I was relieved to see him. My father said that my mother was nearly crazy at that time. Then we both went back to the previous store and saw the rest of my family. My mother and my sibling were also relieved to see me in one piece haha. Instead of getting angry, my mother was dropping tears of joy because at a moment she realised that she can't find her boy back as I was lost in the busiest street my family would ever encounter.
INTERPRET
I learned to improve my sense of hearing as I didn't hear what my mother really say. I need to have the initiative to ensure a second confirmation prior to make a choice or judgment. I felt so terrible because I made my mother's biggest fear to become a reality. But in the end, I believe that something happened should have its silver lining. Maybe this major event of my life teaches me to be more sensitive to the surrounding and make logical judgements.
EVALUATE
This lesson is very useful for me as a college student to be more efficient in learning. I should avoid careless mistakes because sometimes a mistake can last for a lifetime. I need to hear commands more precisely and accurately to be a more effective independent learner
PLAN
Regarding to this specific event of my life, I have to be more careful and should avoid of being clumsy. As I wan to be a doctor in the near future, the last thing I should do is careless mistakes, or even not in the list at all. Being a doctor is a very challenging job, that once I do a mistake, it will have a risk on people's life and my career as a specialist.

MPU ASSIGNMENT 5
Today for MPU I did the career test which includes the personality test. The personality test that is included however is more accurate than the previous stand-alone test. For this one I got ISFJ instead of ESFJ. I realise that I am more towards extroversion rather than introversion. This is the result that I got;
Personality Types
Your results with percentage breakdown
Percentage breakdown of your results:
Introverted (I) 54% Extraverted (E) 46%
Sensing (S) 59% Intuitive 41%
Feeling (F) 70% Thinking (T) 30%
Judging (J) 50% Perceiving (P) 50%
ISFJ – Nurturers and Defenders
Career relevant traits:
• Very observant and aware of others reactions and feelings
• In-tune with the surroundings giving an excellent sense of space and function
• Practical, down-to-earth and stable. You do not like to work with abstract thought and theory
• Service oriented, the ISFJ focuses on other’s wants and needs
• Very uncomfortable with confrontation and conflict
• Learn best with hands-on training
You have two basic qualities which define your best career orientation:
a) You are extremely interested and tuned to how other’s are feeling, and
b) You enjoy creating order and structure, and are extremely good at this.
You should choose a career in where you can use your exceptional people observation skills to determine what people want or need, and then use your brilliant organisational abilities to create an environment or plan for creating these wants and needs.
Your awareness of aesthetic quality, combined with your strong sense of space and function also allows you to have special abilities in the practical arts, such as clothes design and interior decorating.
ISFJs are kind and warm-hearted people. You believe the best in people and treat others with kindness and consideration, as you value harmony and co-operation.
An ISFJ is a practical person that learns by doing rather than by reading or applying a theory. For this reason you are not likely to be found in a field which requires a lot of conceptual theory or analysis. An ISFJ enjoys working on something for its practical application and once you know how to perform the task, you will do so faithfully and continually, through to completion. Thus making an ISFJ an extremely dependable person.
Possible Career Paths for the ISFJ:
• Interior Decorators
• Designers
• Gardeners
• Curators
• Medical technologists
• Nurses br /> • Administrators and Managers
• Administrative Assistants
• Librarians
• Child Care and Early Childhood Development
• Social Work / Counsellors
• Paralegals
• Religious Workers or clergy
• Office Managers
• Shopkeepers
• Bookkeepers
• Home Economics(home makers)
I'm so thankful because my ambition matches my personality. Based on the list, medical technologist is included. Unfortunately, no doctor. But to think of it again, I'm not really interested to become a doctor. Maybe because I tend to get so stressed when working with people, in this case people's life. I am more comfortable working silently or in discussions in labs which fulfils my career and personality test. Medical technologist would be my ambition now, maybe. To be specific, biomedical scientist would be great for me. I know there is a term out there using 'biomedical engineer', I hate engineering so I prefer 'scientist' a lot more than 'engineer'. Not that I hate engineers but I hate the mechanical stuffs that they learn and do. I hope biomedical scientist will be far from that.

MPU ASSIGNMENT 4
I agree of what the test says.. I am a visual learner. I need to see dramatisations or diagrams or maybe animations to really understand a specific topic. That's where the internet can be so useful for me as a student as guidance and to further understand besides lecturers.
These are the amazing people who have different learning styles. From left, Jing Vern, Ash and Joyee. Nice meeting you guys! Got to learn those two other two skills which are auditory skill and kinematics skill which I am not really interested as I am a visual learner but would love to have those extra skills!

MPU ASSIGNMENT 3
According to Myers-Briggs Personalty Test, I'm ESFJ which is Extraversion + Sensing + Feeling + Judging. I'm not quite sure the result is really adjacent to my true personality, however I find it really interesting because it made me realise about a part of myself I subconsciously know. For example, I feel really secure and safe when there are rules and regulation even though I really dislike it. This is what the report says:
ESFJs focus on the outside world and assess their experiences subjectively. They largely base their judgments on their belief system and on the effects of actions on people. ESFJs are literal and concrete, trusting the specific, factual information gathered through their physiological senses. ESFJs project warmth through a genuine interest in the well-being of others. They are often skilled at bringing out the best in people, and they want to understand other points of view. They are serious about their responsibilities, seeing what needs to be done and then doing it. Generally proficient at detailed tasks, they enjoy doing little things that make life easier for others. They value tradition and the security it offers. Easily hurt, ESFJs seek approval. They take pleasure in other people's happiness. They give generously but expect appreciation in return. Sensitive to the physical needs of others, they respond by offering practical care. As expert people readers, ESFJs often adapt their manner to meet the expectations of others. However, they may have difficulty recognizing the shortcomings of loved ones. ESFJs tend to be vocal in expressing their sense of right and wrong. Their value system derives from the external standards defined by their community, as opposed to a personal set of ethics. (This is one of the traits that distinguishes them from their ENFJ counterparts.) ESFJs raised in an environment of high ethical standards tend to display true generosity and kindness. However, those who grow up surrounded by a skewed set of values may develop a false sense of integrity and use their people skills to selfishly manipulate others—particularly if their intuition is poorly developed, leaving them unable to foresee the consequences of their actions. ESFJs seek structured, controlled environments, and tend to be good at creating a sense of order. They generally feel insecure in an atmosphere of uncertainty. They value the rule of law and expect the same of others. ESFJs may be less interested in understanding the concepts behind the rules, tending to shy away from the abstract and impersonal.

MPU ASSIGNMENT 2
TAYLOR’S GRADUATE CAPABILITY
BIOLOGY
Discipline specific knowledge
-Learning biology teaches me how to be the optimum student who study smartly and not study hardly. I tried to study smartly for this specific subject as it requires a lot of reading. Of course other subjects are also vital to study smartly too. Biology also requires students to memorise and understand the contents of the syllabus concisely. Practising experiments also require this type of capability which helps students to know and deeply understand the procedures as to ensure the accuracy of experiments that have yet done.
Interpersonal skills
-Biology requires me to be an extrovert rather than introvert which could make my life a lot easier. I believe that being active in study groups can improve my understanding about this subject quite drastically rather than studying alone. I can ask anytime if I have doubts about certain chapters and hear opinions from my friends. Presentations also will be easier if I have this capability in my hands. Presenting is not an easy job, because it requires me to be fully focused on what topic I am discussing with my class. I have to make my friends understand fully what I am saying throughout my presentation.
Thinking and problem solving
-Thinking creatively and critical is simple if we practice to solve complicated problems more often. We can’t run from problems especially in Biology. I had learned to think more critically when doing revision. Being biologists also require a high capability to think out-of-the-box especially during confronting biological cases and scenarios. For example, the latest technology that doctors nowadays are able to do heart transplant from cadavers
Lifelong learning
-Learning is a lifelong process. We will never run out of knowledge. Doing researches and experiments. I learned that learning biology requires a very deep passion towards it. I have to make research and look for extra information on my own initiative, independently
MPU ASSIGNMENT 1
Hello reader, my name is Bilal bin Shamsun Anwar. I’m staying in KL for all my life, but not actually since I was born. I was born in Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan, a small isolated island off coast of Sabah. My father is the director of CIMB Islamic. My mother was actually an accountant but for me and my other two older sisters, Sarah and Liya, she sacrificed her work to be a full-housewife. As a young mother she gave a lot of attention to me and my sisters and tons of love. Sarah, who is my oldest sister was born in Boston, USA right after my parents graduated from their respective universities while my older sister, Liya was born in Sungai Petani, Kedah. My parents came back home to Malaysia in 1994. And then comes me. I was the youngest child, but not for long. My younger sister, Asma’ was born in Kota Kinabalu. Why not in Labuan? Well, my parents hesitated to assign for the second labour there, because of the doctors there, There were not many professional hands in the hospital in Pulau Labuan. I was nearly strangled to death inside my mother’s womb due to their carelessness. So my parents went to Kota Kinabalu just for the sake of getting professionals. TIme went by and my youngest brother was born in KL in 2004.
My ambition was to be a pilot but as you know, kids ignorant about these things. My ambition fluctuates as I grew older and older until now. I want to be a doctor because I love Biology! It’s like learning about yourself. Your true self! I mean it’s kind of interesting to know how our body works. The little creatures which make up ourselves are so vital, that without them, we are basically nothing. Also, I can get to know the wonders God has created for us. Even the tiniest thing counts.
I don’t achieve that much in my life, but if I did, it will never be forgotten. Recently I got 9A+ 1A for my SPM. I don’t expect to get that kind of result. I expect better! JOKE! I was so happy that I didn’t digest it quite clearly as I felt when I arrive in my house. I buffered a bit. So, yeah that’s the biggest achievement in my life.
I have a lot universities in my mind. Like a LOT! But Oxford University overpowers all of them. I went there recently in January. The campus is very beautiful and hell old. I was overwhelmed to see the university’s structures and architecture. Such a lovely university.
