MPU ASSIGNMENT 1

Hello reader, my name is Bilal bin Shamsun Anwar. I’m staying in KL for all my life, but not actually since I was born. I was born in Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan, a small isolated island off coast of Sabah. My father is the director of CIMB Islamic. My mother was actually an accountant but for me and my other two older sisters, Sarah and Liya, she sacrificed her work to be a full-housewife. As a young mother she gave a lot of attention to me and my sisters and tons of love. Sarah, who is my oldest sister was born in Boston, USA right after my parents graduated from their respective universities while my older sister, Liya was born in Sungai Petani, Kedah. My parents came back home to Malaysia in 1994. And then comes me. I was the youngest child, but not for long. My younger sister, Asma’ was born in Kota Kinabalu. Why not in Labuan? Well, my parents hesitated to assign for the second labour there, because of the doctors there, There were not many professional hands in the hospital in Pulau Labuan. I was nearly strangled to death inside my mother’s womb due to their carelessness. So my parents went to Kota Kinabalu just for the sake of getting professionals. TIme went by and my youngest brother was born in KL in 2004.

My ambition was to be a pilot but as you know, kids ignorant about these things. My ambition fluctuates as I grew older and older until now. I want to be a doctor because I love Biology! It’s like learning about yourself. Your true self! I mean it’s kind of interesting to know how our body works. The little creatures which make up ourselves are so vital, that without them, we are basically nothing. Also, I can get to know the wonders God has created for us. Even the tiniest thing counts.

I don’t achieve that much in my life, but if I did, it will never be forgotten. Recently I got 9A+ 1A for my SPM. I don’t expect to get that kind of result. I expect better! JOKE! I was so happy that I didn’t digest it quite clearly as I felt when I arrive in my house. I buffered a bit. So, yeah that’s the biggest achievement in my life.

I have a lot universities in my mind. Like a LOT! But Oxford University overpowers all of them. I went there recently in January. The campus is very beautiful and hell old. I was overwhelmed to see the university’s structures and architecture. Such a lovely university.
